Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and comprehensive Physics and Basic Technology lessons in accordance with the approved Nigerian and British curricula.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Develop and implement hands-on practical laboratory experiments and technical projects to enhance student comprehension of scientific and technological concepts.
- Assess, monitor, and record students progress, providing constructive feedback and timely progress reports to parents and school administration.
- Participate actively in curriculum development, departmental meetings, school events, and extracurricular activities.
- Mentor and guide students in developing critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a genuine passion for STEM subjects.
- Applicants must possess a minimum qualification of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Physics, Basic Technology, Engineering, or a related relevant field.
- Proven experience teaching Physics and Basic Technology in a reputable secondary school setting is a distinct advantage.
- Strong command of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional classroom management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners effectively.
