About the Role
Treasure Heights Montessori School, a premier citadel of learning located in the heart of Enugu State, is seeking a passionate and qualified Commercial Science Teacher to join our esteemed academic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our secondary school students by delivering high-quality instruction in commercial subjects, fostering critical thinking, and ensuring academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, interactive lessons in Commercial Science and related subjects such as Accounting, Commerce, and Economics.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, assignments, and continuous assessments.
- Prepare students effectively for external examinations including WAEC, NECO, and other relevant academic milestones.
- Monitor and evaluate students’ academic progress, maintaining accurate records and providing constructive feedback to learners and parents.
- Incorporate practical examples and real-life business situations to make learning relatable and meaningful.
- Maintain a disciplined, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Education, Business Education, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Valid teaching qualification, such as TRCN certification, will be a distinct advantage.
- Strong, demonstrated knowledge of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum for commercial subjects.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in utilizing technology and digital learning resources to enhance classroom instruction.
- Must have successfully completed the mandatory NYSC program.
