About the Role
The Apostolic Church Model College is a reputable co-educational mission high school with boarding facilities located along the Sango-Eleyele Road in Ibadan, Oyo State. Founded by the Presbytery of The Apostolic Church Nigeria, Sango-Ibadan Assembly, our institution is dedicated to delivering a high-quality, holistic learning experience that seamlessly combines academic rigor with strict moral integrity. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Physical and Health Education Teacher to inspire our students, promote active and healthy lifestyles, and contribute to our vibrant school community.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Physical and Health Education lessons in accordance with the approved secondary school curriculum.
- Promote physical fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and overall wellness among students across various grade levels.
- Organize, supervise, and coach school sports teams for intramural and inter-school competitions and athletic events.
- Assess and evaluate student progress, maintaining accurate records of academic performance and physical development.
- Ensure the safety and proper maintenance of all sports equipment, facilities, and athletic grounds.
- Instill strong moral values, discipline, and ethical behavior in line with the mission and vision of the college.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school-wide extracurricular activities.
- Possession of a B.Sc, B.Ed, or B.Sc (Education) in Physical and Health Education or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
- Proven teaching experience in a structured high school or secondary school environment is an added advantage.
