About the Role
Sun King is the world's leading off-grid solar energy company, transforming lives by bringing reliable power to underserved communities across Africa and Asia. We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Phone Repair Technician to join our growing operations in Nigeria, ensuring our returned and repossessed mobile devices are expertly restored to full functionality.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough functional tests and diagnostic software checks to triage damaged devices and identify faults.
- Safely disassemble and reassemble mobile devices using precision tools while adhering to ESD-safe practices.
- Replace defective components including screens, batteries, cameras, and charging ports using OEM-approved parts.
- Conduct comprehensive post-repair functional, cosmetic, and RF connectivity testing.
- Manage spare parts inventory, log consumption, and process finished goods efficiently using SAP.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and suggest continuous improvements to internal repair procedures.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct hands-on experience in cell phone or electronic device repair.
- Proficiency in using precision repair tools, software flashing, and conducting RF tests.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, high integrity, and a steadfast work ethic.
