Key Responsibilities- Perform venipuncture, finger-sticks, and other specimen collection procedures efficiently and safely on patients of all age groups.
- Verify patient identification accurately and label all specimens correctly to prevent errors.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked workstation in compliance with infection control and safety standards.
- Provide compassionate care and reassurance to patients who may be anxious about medical procedures.
- Handle, process, and store specimens correctly to maintain sample integrity prior to laboratory testing.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all procedures performed and report any complications immediately.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of cognate experience as a Phlebotomist in a recognized medical laboratory or hospital.
- Relevant certification in nursing, medical laboratory technician training, or specialized phlebotomy certification.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
