About the Role
Castville Solutions is currently seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and hardworking Healthcare Assistant to support the daily operations of a dynamic retail pharmacy. In this role, you will play a crucial part in bridging the gap between healthcare providers and patients by ensuring smooth administrative and retail workflows. Key Responsibilities- Assist licensed pharmacists with daily pharmacy operations, administrative duties, and workflow management.
- Welcome customers warmly, attend to general inquiries, and direct them appropriately to the pharmacist for professional medication-related advice.
- Assist with arranging, organizing, and properly restocking medications and healthcare products on retail shelves.
- Monitor stock levels, meticulously check product expiry dates, and promptly report low stock or expired goods to the pharmacist.
- Maintain optimal standards of cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout the pharmacy environment.
- Assist with comprehensive inventory management, routine stocktaking, and accurate recordkeeping tasks.
- Minimum of an SSCE/WAEC, OND, or equivalent educational qualification from a recognized institution.
- Previous practical experience working in a retail pharmacy, hospital, or similar healthcare facility is an added advantage.
- Basic working knowledge of healthcare products, pharmaceuticals, and general pharmacy operations is highly desirable.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills paired with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Strong customer service orientation with a polite, empathetic, and approachable demeanor.
- Basic computer literacy and reliable recordkeeping skills to manage daily administrative logs.
