About the Role
St. Cyprian Modern Schools, a leading private educational institution located in Court Area Agubia, Ikwo Local Government Area, Ebonyi State, is recruiting a dedicated Physical and Health Education Teacher. Our institution provides comprehensive academic pathways across Nursery, Primary, and Secondary levels, fostering holistic development in a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and interactive Physical and Health Education lessons across assigned classes
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Organize and supervise sports activities, competitions, and health education programmes
- Maintain detailed records of student performance and attendance
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote a culture of fitness and wellness
- Participate in school events, athletics days, and extracurricular activities
- Contribute to school management and policy implementation
- Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.ED or B.S.ED) with specialization in Physical Education or Health Sciences
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in school teaching and management
- Strong subject matter expertise and pedagogical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
