In this role, you will contribute to the vibrant intellectual community of one of Nigeria's leading tertiary institutions, mentoring the next generation of legal practitioners and scholars.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and tutorials in Private and Property Law to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Conduct high-quality, impactful academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervise undergraduate research projects and dissertations.
- Participate in department, faculty, and university-wide committee meetings and administrative duties.
- Contribute to curriculum development and the enhancement of teaching methodologies within the Department of Law.
- Engage in community service and academic outreach initiatives relevant to the legal profession.
- A Master's degree in Law with a PhD currently in progress.
- A first degree (LLB) with a minimum of a Second-Class Upper Division, or a Second-Class Lower Division accompanied by a completed PhD.
- Demonstrated evidence of teaching and research potential or relevant academic experience.
