Zamfara State Government is recruiting qualified Pharmacy Technicians to join our healthcare delivery team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical services across the state's healthcare facilities. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to maintaining high standards of pharmacy practice and patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of registered pharmacists
- Maintain accurate pharmaceutical records and inventory management systems
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy practice standards and regulatory requirements
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage and side effects
- Support pharmaceutical operations across state health facilities
- Assist in medication procurement and quality control processes
- National Pharmacy Technician Certificate (minimum requirement)
- Current professional annual permit from the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN)
- Age: 18 to 40 years at the time of application (subject to state policy modifications)
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical practice and drug interactions
