About the Role
Zamfara State Government is recruiting qualified Community Health Officers (CHOs) to strengthen healthcare delivery across the state. As a CHO, you will be instrumental in providing primary healthcare services, health education, and disease prevention initiatives to communities throughout Zamfara State's fourteen local government areas.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver primary healthcare services in assigned communities
- Conduct health education and disease prevention programs
- Maintain accurate health records and reports
- Promote maternal and child health initiatives
- Support immunization and vaccination campaigns
- Work collaboratively with health facilities and community stakeholders
- Respond to health emergencies and disease outbreaks
- Valid CHO Certificate from CHPRBN with current annual practicing license
- Nigerian citizen by birth with valid National ID/NIN
- Age 18-40 years
- Medically and physically fit
- Clean criminal record with no history of public service dismissal
- Willingness to work in rural areas and accept deployment anywhere in Zamfara State
- Passport photograph and birth certificate/declaration
- LGA Indigene certificate
- Curriculum Vitae and all academic certificates
- Professional certificates and valid practicing license
- Valid NIN slip/card
