Key Responsibilities- Dispensing medications accurately under the supervision of licensed pharmacists and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Counseling patients on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and therapeutic outcomes.
- Participating in ward rounds and multidisciplinary healthcare team meetings to optimize patient pharmacotherapy.
- Conducting pharmaceutical research and contributing to clinical audits to improve local healthcare delivery.
- Assisting in inventory management, drug procurement, and quality assurance within the hospital pharmacy department.
- Performing other professional duties as assigned by the Hospital Management and supervising pharmacists.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from a recognized university.
- Provisional registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) as a Pharmacy Intern.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
