About the Role
Learners Crest Schools is a premier private, multi-campus co-educational institution located in Baale Ajuwon, Ogun State, strategically bordering the Ojodu Berger and Iju axis of Lagos, Nigeria. Established in 2021, we are dedicated to providing an inclusive and safe educational environment spanning from Early Years to Secondary School. We are currently seeking a vigilant, reliable, and professional Security Personnel to join our growing team and safeguard our students, staff, and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor school premises, gates, and perimeters to prevent unauthorized access and security breaches.
- Maintain a visitor logbook, verify visitor identities, and issue passes to ensure campus safety.
- Conduct regular patrols across the school grounds during the day and night shifts.
- Manage vehicular and pedestrian traffic flow during school drop-off and pick-up hours.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and suspicious incidents, reporting them immediately to school management.
- Enforce school safety policies and collaborate with local community security networks when necessary.
- Minimum of an SSCE or equivalent educational qualification with formal security training.
- Proven work experience as a security guard, preferably within an educational institution or corporate environment.
- Strong situational awareness, physical fitness, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact respectfully with students, staff, and parents.
- Integrity, punctuality, and a strong commitment to maintaining a secure environment.
- Residency around Baale Ajuwon, Ojodu Berger, Iju, or surrounding Ogun/Lagos border areas is a distinct advantage.
