About the Role
Learners' Crest Schools, a reputable private co-educational institution located in Baale Ajuwon, Ogun State, bordering the vibrant Ojodu Berger and Iju axis, is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Cleaners and Caregivers to join our growing team. In this dual capacity, you will play a vital role in ensuring our school environment remains exceptionally clean, hygienic, and welcoming for our pupils ranging from the Early Years crèche to secondary school. Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough daily cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting of classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and play areas.
- Provide attentive care and supervision to children in the crèche, preschool, and nursery sections during school hours.
- Ensure all school facilities meet high standards of health, safety, and hygiene compliance.
- Assist teachers with organizing classroom materials and managing student routines as needed.
- Handle waste disposal properly and maintain adequate supplies of cleaning and sanitary materials.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests and attend to children's immediate comfort and safety needs with patience and empathy.
- Possess relevant academic qualifications, such as SSCE, OND, or professional training in childcare, hospitality, or related fields.
- Proven previous experience working as a cleaner, nanny, caregiver, or similar role, preferably within a school or childcare setting.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a genuine love for working with children of various ages.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness and safety.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously with teachers, parents, and school management.
- Residency in or around Baale Ajuwon, Ojodu Berger, Iju, or surrounding Ogun and Lagos border communities is a distinct advantage.
