About the Role

Fortics Lifecare Limited is expanding its healthcare network and recruiting a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant or Technician for our brand-new hospital centre located in Agric, Ikorodu, Lagos State. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care by ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient day-to-day operation of our pharmacy department under professional supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed pharmacists with accurate dispensing and issuing of prescribed medications to patients.
  • Receive, inspect, arrange, and properly store pharmaceutical products according to regulatory standards.
  • Monitor stock levels, track expiry dates proactively, and report shortages or damaged items.
  • Maintain precise pharmacy inventory records and actively participate in periodic stock audits.
  • Process prescriptions efficiently and address patient enquiries with empathy and professionalism.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all daily pharmacy transactions and inventory movements.
  • Maintain optimal cleanliness, organisation, and safety standards within the pharmacy environment.
  • Comply strictly with internal healthcare policies and applicable professional regulations.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a relevant CHEW or Pharmacy Technician qualification from a recognised institution.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of post-clinical working experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting.
  • Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical products, medical terminology, and pharmacy operations.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent numerical skills, and reliable record-keeping abilities.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and a strong customer-focused attitude toward patient care.
