About the Role
Excellence Community Education Welfare Scheme Ltd/Gte (ECEWS) is a leading indigenous non-profit organization dedicated to improving access to qualitative healthcare, education, and economic strengthening services in Nigeria. Through our BRIDGE and LOCATE projects funded by CDC/PEPFAR, we deliver comprehensive health interventions. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to support facility-level pharmacy and commodity logistics activities under the Enhanced Site Mechanism (ESM).
Key Responsibilities- Support facility-level pharmacy and commodity logistics activities under the Enhanced Site Mechanism (ESM).
- Assist in monitoring stock levels, expiry dates, and storage conditions of health commodities at the facility level.
- Support accurate recording and reporting of commodity data using approved logistics management tools.
- Assist in the distribution and redistribution of commodities to prevent stock-outs and overstocking.
- Support facility staff in maintaining proper inventory and dispensing records.
- Participate in routine stock counts and support commodity supply chain reporting.
- Report commodity gaps, discrepancies, or risks to the Technical Officer Pharmacy.
- Deliver against the approved GHSD milestone plan and quarterly performance targets, integrating services across HIV, TB, malaria, and MNCH platforms.
- A first degree, HND, or relevant certification in Pharmacy, Pharmacy Technology, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least one (1) year of experience in pharmacy or health commodity logistics support, preferably at the facility level.
- Basic knowledge of health commodity management and logistics systems.
- Good attention to detail, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Willingness to work at assigned health facility sites in Nigeria.
