About the Role
Eko Maintenance Limited is a rapidly growing Facility Management Company that specializes in the maintenance of high-rise building facilities, with our corporate office located in Victoria Island, Lagos. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to help protect our organization’s systems, networks, applications, and data from emerging cyber threats through robust security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, risk assessment, and the implementation of effective security controls.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor security systems, networks, endpoints, and cloud environments for suspicious activity.
- Investigate and respond promptly to cybersecurity incidents, managing containment and recovery.
- Analyze security logs and alerts from SIEM, EDR, firewall, IDS/IPS, and other enterprise security tools.
- Identify vulnerabilities and actively support cross-functional remediation efforts.
- Conduct thorough security assessments, risk analysis, and basic threat hunting.
- Investigate phishing, malware, unauthorized access, and other security events.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and access controls.
- Assist with vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS.
- Degree or Diploma in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a cybersecurity role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs, firewalls, and Windows/Linux security.
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk) and EDR/XDR solutions.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CEH, BTL1, CISSP, or Microsoft security credentials are a strong advantage.
