About the Role
ExCare Services Limited is a reputable healthcare provider offering comprehensive pharmaceutical, laboratory, and immunization services. We are currently seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic Pharmacist Intern to support the delivery of safe, high-quality pharmaceutical care across our growing retail pharmacy operations. This exciting role provides hands-on exposure to clinical pharmacy practice, inventory management, customer engagement, and core pharmacy operations while supporting sales growth and service excellence in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Support prescription review and assist in patient counselling under supervision to ensure safe and appropriate medication use.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the pharmacy layout for easy identification of drugs, medical devices, and sundries.
- Support inventory management activities, including stock monitoring, shelf arrangement, and expiry tracking.
- Assist in the delivery and promotion of value-added pharmacy services, including basic health checks and patient health education.
- Engage customers professionally to support service quality, customer satisfaction, and retail sales initiatives.
- Support strict compliance with regulatory, legal, and professional pharmacy practice standards set by relevant authorities.
- Participate in continuous learning activities, training sessions, and professional development within the pharmacy team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Possession of a valid provisional or full license to practice as a pharmacist in Nigeria.
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and modern Pharmacy Information Systems.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
