About the Role
Castville Solutions is searching for a dedicated and customer-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our reputable community pharmacy partner in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in daily operations by assisting licensed pharmacists with medication preparation, inventory control, and providing exceptional customer service to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the supervising pharmacist in accurately dispensing and preparing medications according to prescriptions and established healthcare standards.
- Receive, review, and process prescriptions efficiently while ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Deliver professional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and providing basic medication information as directed by the pharmacist.
- Receive, inspect, arrange, label, and store pharmaceutical products and supplies in accordance with manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels continuously, identifying low stock, damaged goods, and products approaching expiration dates to minimize waste.
- Minimum of an OND or HND in Pharmacy Technician studies or a recognized equivalent qualification.
- Must possess a valid license or registration with the relevant Nigerian regulatory body.
- Prior working experience in a retail or community pharmacy setting is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of common pharmaceutical products, medical terminology, and standard pharmacy procedures.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills with high attention to detail.
