We are currently seeking a qualified, dynamic, and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our professional team at our Ikeja branch. In this vital role, you will ensure the safe and effective use of medications while providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately compound and dispense medications as prescribed by attending medical doctors.
  • Monitor patient drug therapies, advise on clinical interventions, and inform patients of potential side effects.
  • Provide clear instructions to patients on how and when to take prescribed medications.
  • Conduct routine health and wellness screenings for patients.
  • Administer immunizations and provide essential clinical services, including blood pressure monitoring, temperature checks, and blood glucose testing.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records utilizing the hospital electronic medical records (EMR) system.
  • Ensure a safe, sterile, and clean working environment within the pharmacy department.
  • Manage pharmacy inventory by verifying order entries, maintaining strict records of controlled substances, and promptly removing expired or damaged stock.
  • Adhere strictly to all legal rules, regulations, and ethical procedures governing pharmaceutical practice in Nigeria.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree.
  • Valid practicing license from the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
  • 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience working as a Pharmacist, preferably within a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of drug interactions, side effects, and clinical protocols.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-handling skills.
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) and pharmacy management software.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
