About the Role
Abuja Clinics, a leading multi-specialty healthcare provider in the Federal Capital Territory since 1989, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist Intern to join our dynamic team. Operating across strategically located branches in Karu, Garki, and Maitama, we leverage advanced medical technology and highly qualified professionals to deliver exceptional patient care. This internship offers hands-on exposure to clinical pharmacy practice, inventory management, and customer engagement within a reputable healthcare institution.
Key Responsibilities- Support prescription review and assist in patient counselling under supervision to ensure safe and appropriate medication use.
- Assist in organising and maintaining the pharmacy layout for efficient identification of drugs and sundries.
- Support inventory management activities, including stock monitoring, shelf arrangement, and expiry tracking.
- Assist in the delivery and promotion of pharmacy services, including basic health checks and patient education.
- Engage customers professionally to support service quality, customer satisfaction, and sales initiatives.
- Support compliance with regulatory, legal, and professional pharmacy practice standards.
- Participate in continuous learning activities and professional development within the pharmacy team.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid provisional or full license to practice as a pharmacist in Nigeria.
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office and pharmacy information systems.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a patient-centred mindset.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.
