About the Role
Whassan Nigeria Limited (WENL), in partnership with Adasa Catering Services Ltd, has been a trusted leader in catering and facilities management services since 1982. We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated Personal Cook to manage household diets, curate diverse menus, and handle food procurement with utmost professionalism and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare, and cook nutritious, high-quality, and diverse meals tailored to the dietary preferences and requirements of the household.
- Conduct daily or weekly market shopping, carefully selecting fresh, premium-quality ingredients while managing food budgets effectively.
- Maintain a spotless, sanitized, and well-organized kitchen environment in compliance with strict health and safety standards.
- Manage pantry inventory, ensuring proper food storage and minimizing waste.
- Handle meal preparation for special family events, gatherings, or guest entertainment when required.
- Collaborate with household members to update and improve weekly meal plans.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience as a personal cook, private chef, or in high-end catering.
- Exceptional culinary skills with deep knowledge of local Nigerian dishes as well as continental and international cuisines.
- Strong understanding of nutritional needs, dietary restrictions, and food safety standards.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and grocery shopping skills.
- Immaculate personal hygiene and professional presentation.
