We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Peri-operative Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team of world-class healthcare professionals and contribute to delivering exceptional surgical care in a state-of-the-art facility.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures in the operating theatre.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthetists, and other multidisciplinary healthcare team members.
- Prepare the operating room with necessary surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies.
- Monitor patients vital signs and overall condition continuously throughout the peri-operative phase.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols, safety checklists, and hospital standards.
- Provide reassuring, patient-centered education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Valid practicing license from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Post-basic certification in Peri-operative Nursing or relevant specialized training.
- Proven clinical experience working in an operating theatre environment within a reputable hospital.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure emergency situations.
