About the Role

CWW Tech Africa is a leading educational technology company dedicated to empowering African youths with in-demand digital and tech skills. We are looking for a passionate and results-driven People, Career & Employability Officer to join our dynamic team in Nigeria. In this hybrid role, you will play a pivotal dual function by managing our internal human resources operations while leading career development, employability, and job-placement initiatives for our graduates. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and staff development.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and ensure strict confidentiality of personnel information.
  • Support employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives, workplace culture, and internal training programs.
  • Provide one-on-one career guidance, coaching, and mentorship to learners and graduates entering the tech industry.
  • Develop robust career pathways, workshops, and employability programs aligned with current labour market trends.
  • Assist learners with CV optimisation, LinkedIn profiles, portfolio building, and mock interview preparations.
  • Source, coordinate, and secure internship, work-experience, and full-time job placements with reputable partner employers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with recruiters, industry partners, and hiring managers across the tech ecosystem.
  • Track graduate employment outcomes, retention rates, and career progression metrics.
  • Collaborate with instructors and management to align curriculum training with employer skills requirements.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Education, Management, or a related field.
  • Relevant HR certifications such as CIPM, CIPD, or SHRM will be a distinct advantage.
  • 2 to 3 years of proven professional experience in HR, people operations, talent management, career services, or recruitment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Nigerian labor practices, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, coaching, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and modern HR or applicant tracking systems.
  • Proactive, highly organised, and empathetic professional with a deep commitment to youth empowerment and education.
