Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent De Paul Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team. Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs for pediatric patients
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and prescribed treatments safely and accurately
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Educate parents and caregivers on child health, nutrition, immunization, and disease prevention strategies
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to children and families throughout treatment
- Collaborate with pediatricians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate, compliant medical records and implement infection control protocols
- Uphold safety standards and best practices in pediatric nursing care
- Registered Nurse (RN) and Registered Pediatric Nurse (RPN) certification from an accredited institution
- Minimum 1 year of relevant pediatric nursing experience
- Current registration with the National Association of Nurses and Midwifery of Nigeria (NANMN)
- Valid pediatric nursing license to practice in Nigeria
- Strong knowledge of child development, immunization schedules, and pediatric emergencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills
