About the Role
Medison Specialist Women's Hospital is dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality, and cost-effective medical services tailored to women and families. We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse / Midwife to join our dynamic clinical team in providing internationally standardised healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing prenatal assessments, monitoring fetal development and maternal health.
- Collaborate with consultant obstetricians to manage labour and delivery processes, providing expert pain management and comfort measures.
- Perform postnatal assessments for both mother and newborn, offering crucial breastfeeding support and postpartum education.
- Administer routine gynaecological exams, screenings, and reproductive health counselling.
- Educate patients on childbirth preparation, newborn care, and comprehensive family planning options.
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Nurse-Midwifery from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Midwife license to practice in Nigeria.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on clinical experience in nursing and midwifery, specifically managing labour and delivery.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and strong clinical documentation skills.
- Possession of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications will be an added advantage.
