About the Role
Transport Services Limited is a fully integrated product handling company delivering value-added logistics and distribution services across Nigeria. We are currently seeking a competent, detail-oriented, and reliable Payroll Officer to join our dynamic HR team and drive seamless payroll administration and general HR operations.
Key Responsibilities- Process monthly payroll accurately and efficiently for all employees, ensuring timely salary disbursements.
- Manage statutory deductions, pension remittances, and tax computations in compliance with Nigerian labor laws.
- Reconcile payroll accounts, resolve salary discrepancies, and handle employee inquiries regarding compensation.
- Maintain up-to-date employee records, tracking attendance, leave, and status changes affecting payroll.
- Collaborate with the finance and HR teams to generate comprehensive payroll reports and audit trails.
- Support general HR operations, onboarding documentation, and personnel administration tasks as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree (BSc/BA) in Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of proven post-graduation experience in hands-on payroll processing and administration.
- Strong working knowledge of Nigerian statutory deductions, tax laws, and HR operational frameworks.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration.
- Active membership in the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) will be an added advantage.
