In this pivotal role, you will build and manage high-value strategic partnerships, engaging diverse stakeholders including processors, TVET institutions, ESOs, government agencies, financial institutions, and organizations representing persons with disabilities. Your work will directly scale our impact in food processing and waste-to-value activities across ten implementation states, fostering inclusive sourcing, backward integration, and impactful policy advocacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and manage strategic partnerships with TVET institutions, polytechnics, and universities to align curricula, facilitate internships, and create employment pathways for youth.
  • Partner with Enterprise Support Organizations (ESOs) and business associations to extend project reach and deliver specialized business development services for women and PWD-led enterprises.
  • Engage with federal, state, and local government agencies to advocate for supportive policies, gender inclusion, and fair labor practices in agricultural processing.
  • Collaborate closely with Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs) to ensure accessibility, reasonable accommodations, and inclusive recruitment across all project activities.
  • Design clear partnership frameworks, monitor performance metrics, and drive adaptive management strategies to maximize sustainable impact.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, International Relations, or a related field with at least 7 years of professional experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in forging strategic partnerships within the Nigerian agricultural, agribusiness, or donor-funded development sectors.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to broker win-win agreements among diverse public and private stakeholders.
  • Exceptional understanding of youth employment, gender equality, and disability inclusion initiatives.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, with proficiency in local languages such as Hausa, Yoruba, or Igbo considered a strong advantage.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time for field visits and stakeholder engagements across implementation states.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary aligned with the non-profit sector and commensurate with experience.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and leadership within a globally recognized development organization.
  • Comprehensive health insurance coverage and professional development support.
  • A collaborative, mission-driven work environment dedicated to sustainable poverty alleviation and inclusive economic development in Nigeria.
