We are currently recruiting a Senior Partnerships and Compliance Officer for our esteemed client focused on fighting sexual and gender-based violence through innovation, advocacy, and survivor-centered programs in Nigeria. This pivotal role involves expanding partnership portfolios, strengthening donor engagement, and managing compliance systems to support organizational growth and mission-driven goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage strategic partnerships with government agencies, donors, nonprofits, and corporate organizations to secure funding opportunities and support institutional goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders, effectively managing partner relationships, agreements, and collaborative engagements.
- Oversee organizational compliance by developing internal policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring strict adherence to donor regulations and industry standards.
- Drive grant acquisition and donor management processes, including proposal development, comprehensive reporting, and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to monitor project deliverables, evaluate partnership impact, and document key organizational success stories.
- Provide staff training and technical support on partnership management while identifying opportunities to optimize operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, International Relations, Public Policy, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Project Management, or a related field.
- Postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications in compliance, partnerships, or grant management are a distinct advantage.
- 4 to 7 years of proven experience in partnership management, donor relations, compliance, or stakeholder engagement within the nonprofit or social impact sector.
- Strong working knowledge of organizational governance, risk management, grant proposal development, and institutional partnership frameworks.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and negotiation skills with a high attention to detail and accountability.
