About the Role
Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, a leader in the Nigerian manufacturing sector and home to the iconic Golden Penny brand, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Risk & Control Manager to join our corporate team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the company's governance, risk management, internal control, and business continuity management processes operate effectively to support organizational resilience, compliance, and sustainable growth across our extensive operations.
Key Responsibilities- Support the annual Enterprise Risk Assessment process and periodic risk reviews to identify emerging business threats and opportunities.
- Coordinate Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), risk mapping activities, and rigorous control testing exercises.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive risk databases covering incidents, losses, issues, and control performance records.
- Provide expert guidance and training to Risk Officers and Risk Champions on standardized risk management methodologies.
- Facilitate collaborative risk discussions with various business units to ensure operational risks are regularly assessed and monitored.
- Prepare insightful risk reports, dashboards, Board Audit and Risk Committee papers, and enterprise risk deep-dives.
- Collaborate with business functions to establish, monitor, and report on actionable Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- An MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification will be a distinct added advantage.
- Must possess a recognized professional certification in Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, or related disciplines.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Risk Management, Internal Control, Audit, Governance, Compliance, or Business Assurance.
- Proven expertise in implementing Enterprise Risk Management frameworks and conducting thorough risk assessments.
