About the Role
Human Edge Consulting, a leading HR consulting and staffing services company established in 1989, is recruiting a Partner Vendor Manager to strengthen our production vendor ecosystem. You will be the critical link between our agency and external partners, ensuring vendors consistently meet our quality, cost, compliance, and delivery standards while building strong collaborative relationships.
Key ResponsibilitiesVendor Sourcing, Onboarding & Management
- Identify, evaluate and onboard reliable vendors across creative production, events, installations, printing, fabrication, logistics and equipment categories
- Conduct comprehensive vendor due diligence and maintain an updated approved vendor database
- Develop alternative vendor options for critical requirements to mitigate operational risk
- Build and nurture strategic vendor relationships while protecting commercial interests
- Conduct periodic performance reviews and ensure compliance with service standards
Procurement & Cost Management
- Obtain, evaluate and compare vendor quotations based on pricing, quality and delivery timelines
- Negotiate competitive rates and favourable payment terms
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
- Monitor expenditure against approved budgets and maintain pricing benchmarks
- Ensure all procurement follows established procedures
Production Support
- Collaborate with Creative Production Managers to understand project requirements
- Recommend suitable vendors aligned with project scope, budget and timeline
- Coordinate vendor mobilization and monitor delivery during active projects
- Escalate potential delays or quality issues proactively
- Bachelor's Degree/HND in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Marketing or related field
- 4–6 years' experience in vendor management, procurement, sourcing, supply chain or operations
- Proven experience negotiating pricing and commercial terms
- Experience in creative production, advertising, events, branding, media or construction is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of the Nigerian vendor and supplier market is advantageous
- Excellent negotiation, relationship management, problem-solving and attention to detail skills
