About the Role
MTN Nigeria, Africa's leading cellular telecommunications company, is looking for a dynamic Partner - Customer Success Cloud Sales to join our Enterprise Business division. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner for startup and SME customers post-sale, ensuring seamless activation, ongoing engagement, long-term value realization, and identifying key upsell opportunities across the customer lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively manage a diverse portfolio of cloud customers, specifically focusing on micro-enterprises, SMEs, and early-stage startups from onboarding to renewal.
- Guide customers smoothly through activation milestones, recommend tailored product use cases, and continuously monitor engagement levels.
- Track critical usage metrics, identify early adoption risks, and execute timely interventions to significantly reduce churn.
- Collaborate closely with internal Product, Technical, and GTM teams by sharing valuable customer feedback to drive continuous service improvement.
- Partner with the Sales team to spearhead upsell initiatives, contract renewals, and impactful case study development.
- Maintain accurate health scores, lifecycle stages, and comprehensive contact logs within the CRM platform.
- Provide strategic customer success insights to help refine segment playbooks and customer journey flows.
- Coordinate efficiently with technical support and onboarding teams to resolve any operational friction points.
- First degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or an IT-related field.
- Professional certifications in Customer Success (such as SuccessHACKER or Gainsight) will be a distinct advantage.
- 3 to 7 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 3 years dedicated to customer success, account management, or a B2B client-facing role.
- Basic working knowledge of cloud technologies including networking, Kubernetes, firewalls, security, and OpenStack.
- Strong familiarity with usage metrics, customer onboarding journeys, and modern CRM tools.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in at least one local Nigerian language is preferred.
