We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Paper Bag Making Machine Operator to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in manufacturing eco-friendly paper bags efficiently, ensuring our high standards of quality are consistently met while championing environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, operate, and monitor automatic and semi-automatic paper bag making machines for daily production runs.
  • Adjust machine settings including paper feed, gluing, folding, and cutting to match precise job specifications.
  • Monitor bag quality throughout the production run by thoroughly checking seams, folds, glue bonds, and dimensions.
  • Identify and correct machine faults quickly to minimize operational downtime and material waste.
  • Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and basic mechanical maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate daily production records detailing run counts, waste levels, and downtime.
  • Ensure finished bags meet strict count accuracy and quality standards before final packing.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
Qualifications
  • Proven hands-on experience operating automatic or semi-automatic paper bag making machines.
  • Solid understanding of kraft paper and Folding Box Board (FBB) material handling.
  • Technically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical issues.
  • Strong attention to detail with a continuous improvement focus on reducing waste and avoiding reprints.
  • Ability to accurately read technical job specifications and consistently work toward production targets.
  • Prior working experience in a fast-paced packaging or paper converting manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts as required by the production schedule.
