We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Paper Bag Making Machine Operator to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in manufacturing eco-friendly paper bags efficiently, ensuring our high standards of quality are consistently met while championing environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities- Set up, operate, and monitor automatic and semi-automatic paper bag making machines for daily production runs.
- Adjust machine settings including paper feed, gluing, folding, and cutting to match precise job specifications.
- Monitor bag quality throughout the production run by thoroughly checking seams, folds, glue bonds, and dimensions.
- Identify and correct machine faults quickly to minimize operational downtime and material waste.
- Perform routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and basic mechanical maintenance.
- Maintain accurate daily production records detailing run counts, waste levels, and downtime.
- Ensure finished bags meet strict count accuracy and quality standards before final packing.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Proven hands-on experience operating automatic or semi-automatic paper bag making machines.
- Solid understanding of kraft paper and Folding Box Board (FBB) material handling.
- Technically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical issues.
- Strong attention to detail with a continuous improvement focus on reducing waste and avoiding reprints.
- Ability to accurately read technical job specifications and consistently work toward production targets.
- Prior working experience in a fast-paced packaging or paper converting manufacturing environment is preferred.
