About the Role
The Nook Apartments, a premier boutique luxury hotel and short-stay serviced apartment venue located in the vibrant commercial hub of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Pantry Officer to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the seamless daily operations of our upscale property, ensuring that our guests enjoy a serene, comfortable, and immaculate environment that meets the highest international standards of luxury and service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and stock levels of the pantry and service areas.
- Prepare and arrange food and beverage items efficiently according to guest requests and hotel standards.
- Coordinate with the housekeeping and kitchen teams to ensure timely replenishment of supplies and amenities.
- Inspect all pantry equipment regularly, reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately.
- Adhere strictly to hygiene, health, and safety protocols in food handling and general workspace maintenance.
- Deliver exceptional, courteous service when interacting directly with guests or handling specialized requests.
- Prior relevant experience in a hospitality, hotel, or food and beverage environment is an added advantage.
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Demonstrated honesty, high reliability, and a strong sense of integrity in daily duties.
