About the Role
Konga Online Shopping Limited is looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented, and responsible Packing Officer to oversee and coordinate the packing and preparation of goods within our dynamic Warehouse and Supply Chain Department. In this role, you will ensure that customer orders are picked, checked, packed, labelled, documented, and prepared for dispatch accurately, securely, and efficiently to deliver exceptional service to our customers across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and carry out the picking and packing of customer orders according to approved packing lists and work instructions.
- Verify correct products, specifications, quantities, and packaging requirements before orders are packed.
- Inspect goods for visible damage, defects, or discrepancies prior to packaging.
- Ensure products are packed securely to prevent damage during handling and transportation.
- Label all packages properly with required product, customer, and dispatch information.
- Cross-check packed orders against sales documentation and report discrepancies to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Maintain adequate supplies of cartons, tapes, and wrapping materials while minimizing waste.
- Assist with stock counts, inventory checks, and reconciliation of physical stock.
- Keep the packing area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree (B.Sc., B.A., B.Tech., or equivalent) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in warehouse operations, packing, inventory, or logistics.
- Professional certification in Warehouse Operations, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
