About the Role
Polaris Digitech Limited is an efficiently well-run company of professionals set on impacting the planning and implementation of Rural and Urban Development and Infrastructure in Nigeria through the development and deployment of Geo-information Management Systems. We are currently seeking a smart, professional, and responsible Driver to join our dynamic team and support our daily logistics needs in Lagos.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport company staff, documents, and materials to designated destinations within Lagos and neighboring states.
- Maintain the assigned company vehicle in a clean, roadworthy, and serviceable condition at all times.
- Monitor routine vehicle maintenance schedules, including servicing, oil changes, and tire checks.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Plan efficient routes using expert knowledge of Lagos roads to avoid traffic and ensure timely arrival.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Minimum of SSCE or equivalent educational qualification.
- Valid Nigerian driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Deep and practical knowledge of Lagos roads, traffic regulations, and alternative routes.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with staff and clients.
- Must be smart, responsible, punctual, and reliable.
- Proximity to Ketu, Ikeja, Berger, or Ogudu is highly preferred.
