About the Role
Marsand Bespoke Joinery Limited is a premier bespoke furniture company specializing in custom-fitted kitchens and wardrobes. We are looking for a dedicated, responsible, and professional Driver to join our growing operations in Awoyaya, Lagos. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our supply chain and customer service delivery by ensuring our exquisite furniture pieces are transported safely and delivered on schedule.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport furniture products and company materials to various client locations across Lagos.
- Navigate Lagos roads efficiently, utilizing extensive route knowledge to avoid traffic delays and ensure timely deliveries.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, ensuring proper maintenance, cleanliness, and prompt reporting of any mechanical faults.
- Adhere strictly to all Nigerian traffic laws and company safety regulations at all times.
- Assist with loading and offloading of goods when necessary, handling delicate bespoke items with utmost care.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily trips, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Communicate professionally with clients, team members, and management regarding delivery updates.
- Minimum of SSCE qualification with a valid and up-to-date Nigerian driver's licence.
- Proven professional driving experience, preferably within the furniture, logistics, or manufacturing sector.
- Comprehensive and practical knowledge of Lagos roads, major routes, and traffic management systems.
- Demonstrated history of safe driving habits, patience, and absolute respect for traffic regulations.
- Exceptional punctuality, honesty, trustworthiness, and a high level of professional integrity.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to identify vehicle faults and coordinate necessary servicing.
- Good verbal communication skills and a courteous demeanor when interacting with clients.
