About the Role
Sagar Vitaceuticals Nigeria Limited, a renowned leader in the Nigerian pharmaceutical industry known for trusted household brands like Vitaclox and Vitacillin, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Packing Chief In-Charge. Based at our ultra-modern manufacturing facility in Ikeja, Lagos, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our life-enhancing healthcare products are packaged efficiently, safely, and in strict compliance with global quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and supervise daily packaging schedules to meet organizational productivity and delivery targets.
- Ensure uncompromising adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with Production, QA/QC, Warehouse, and Engineering teams to minimize downtime and prevent errors.
- Lead, train, and mentor packaging supervisors and operators while fostering a culture of workplace safety, hygiene, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor packaging material reconciliation, investigate deviations, and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) effectively.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant pharmaceutical manufacturing experience, with at least 2 to 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of cGMP regulations, packaging line operations, lean manufacturing, and safety protocols.
