About the Role
Ascentech Services Limited is looking for a dedicated and proactive Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic operations in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the seamless operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various industrial electrical, automation, and instrumentation systems. If you have hands-on experience in manufacturing or industrial settings and excel at diagnosing complex electrical faults, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, automation, and instrumentation equipment, including industrial motor controls and pump drives.
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty electrical machinery, appliances, control systems, and high-voltage equipment.
- Diagnose electrical faults down to component level to extend equipment lifespan and reduce operational downtime.
- Maintain engine generators and associated control circuit equipment efficiently.
- Install, maintain, and repair building electrical circuits and related infrastructure.
- Support the maintenance and troubleshooting of alarm systems, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), soft starters, pneumatic and electronic controls, and programmable control systems.
- Conduct thermographic inspections of electrical distribution panels and motor control systems to prevent failures.
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 1 to 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in electrical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical machinery, electronic control systems, and safety standards.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and maintain diverse industrial machines, generators, VFDs, and soft starters.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
