About the Role

We are currently looking for a dedicated Packaging Instrument Artisan to join our dynamic technical team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving all control and automation-related equipment and systems, focusing primarily on field instrumentation and networks to ensure seamless manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct optimization and troubleshooting of all process control systems within the brewery and support new installations.
  • Interpret process specifications and execute modifications or optimizations in line with industry standards.
  • Maintain process control equipment, software integrity, and data security.
  • Develop and upgrade preventative maintenance procedures for automation systems.
  • Coach and mentor trainees, instrument apprentices, and process operators to build technical capability.
  • Perform standby duties and participate in shift work as required by operational demands.
  • Maintain a safe, healthy, and compliant working environment at all times.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in instrumentation equipment maintenance and PLC operations.
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of process measurement instrumentation and control systems architecture.
  • Familiarity with Fieldbus technology, data historian systems, and Manufacturing Execution Systems.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, logical thinking, and effective interpersonal skills.
