About the Role
Pinefield Schools is a co-educational, multicultural, non-denominational Christian school situated on a serene 1.8-hectare campus in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos. Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Physical and Health Education lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Teach fundamental movement skills, physical fitness, athletics, games, and various sporting activities.
- Promote teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles among pupils.
- Coach and prepare pupils for school sports competitions, inter-house sports, and annual events.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures, inspect equipment regularly, and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Incorporate Christian principles and values such as integrity, respect, and perseverance into teaching and coaching.
- Monitor, assess, and maintain accurate records of pupil progress and participation.
- Bachelor's degree (minimum Second Class Upper / 2:1) in Physical and Health Education, Human Kinetics, Sports Science, or a related discipline from a reputable university.
- Valid TRCN registration and certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching or coaching experience in a reputable school environment.
- First Aid or Basic Life Support certification is a strong advantage.
