About the Role
KolaDaisi University (KDU) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Lecturer II in Cyber Security for the upcoming 2026/2027 Academic Session. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in Cyber Security and related computing courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Conduct high-impact academic research and publish scholarly articles in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate student projects, dissertations, and academic field activities.
- Provide academic mentoring, career guidance, and pastoral support to students.
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative duties, curriculum development, and community service initiatives.
- Must possess a PhD degree in Cyber Security or a closely relevant computing field from a recognized university.
- Minimum of two (2) years of teaching, professional, and research experience in a tertiary institution.
- Demonstrated record of scholarly publications in reputable local and international academic journals.
- High proficiency in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) with demonstrable competence in digital teaching tools and cyber security software.
- Competitive remuneration structured similarly to Federal Universities in Nigeria under salary scale KDUTSS 03.
- Comprehensive conditions of service as approved by the Governing Council of KolaDaisi University.
- A two-year initial probationary appointment with opportunities for confirmation to retiring age upon satisfactory performance.
