We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified academic professional to fill the position of Lecturer II in the Department of Medical Laboratory Science for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic session.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lectures, practical laboratory sessions, and tutorials to undergraduate students in Medical Laboratory Science.
- Conduct high-quality academic research and publish findings in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
- Supervise undergraduate student research projects, dissertations, and practical laboratory training.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and university-wide academic committees.
- Advise and mentor students on academic progress, career paths, and professional development.
- Leverage information and communication technology (ICT) tools for effective virtual and physical instructional delivery.
- Applicant must possess a PhD Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a directly relevant field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of teaching and research experience in a recognized tertiary institution.
- Must possess a strong portfolio of scholarly publications in reputable peer-reviewed academic journals.
- Proficiency in ICT with demonstrable competence in digital learning management systems and research tools.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
