About the Role

ipNX Nigeria Limited is a leading provider of infrastructure-based Telecommunications and Information Technology services in Nigeria, dedicated to delivering robust connectivity solutions to corporate and residential clients. We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven OSP Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing Operations and Maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Restore corporate customer service failures within 3 hours and retail customer service failures within 12 hours of occurrence.
  • Implement and integrate new projects, ensuring all open incident tickets are resolved within the stipulated timeframe.
  • Provide prompt incident management communication and update the OTRS application with resolution activities.
  • Proactively identify, plan, and execute preventive maintenance actions on the fiber network.
  • Audit and collate network information, preparing accurate as-maintained documentation for the region.
  • Submit weekly support status reports and activate FOS customer requests within 3 days of sign-up.
  • Supervise civil works, maintain quality control, and process Right of Way (ROW) licenses with regulatory authorities.
Qualifications
  • University Degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or Applied Sciences.
  • Minimum of 2 years of telecommunications industry experience, specifically in fiber network deployments and outside plant maintenance.
  • Proven track record in managing metro and long-distance fiber optic infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with FTx and/or P2P fiber deployment, fusion splicing, OTDR testing, and LSPM tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools, Microsoft Project, and familiarity with Visio, AutoCAD, or GIS tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills with a good grasp of Nigerian Health and Safety legislation.
