About the Role
Trident Dental Services is a premier, state-of-the-art healthcare facility located in Mabushi, Abuja, Nigeria. Committed to clinical excellence and patient-centered care, we are expanding our medical offerings and seeking a dedicated and professional Optometrist to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough eye examinations to check for visual acuity and ocular health anomalies
- Diagnose sight problems, eye diseases, and other ocular conditions accurately
- Prescribe corrective eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other visual aids as needed
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients undergoing eye surgeries
- Educate patients on proper eye care techniques, hygiene, and preventative visual health measures
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records in compliance with clinical standards
- Degree in Optometry (OD) from a recognized and accredited institution
- Valid practicing license from the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Board of Nigeria (ODOBN)
- Proven clinical experience working as an Optometrist in a reputable hospital or clinic
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and patient-management skills
