About the Role

Key Responsibilities- Perform complex surgical procedures with high precision and adherence to international medical standards.
- Provide comprehensive pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative patient care.
- Collaborate effectively with pediatricians, obstetricians, internal medicine physicians, and radiologists to deliver holistic treatment plans.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic and surgical equipment available within the hospital group.
- Supervise, mentor, and train resident doctors, medical officers, and nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate and confidential electronic medical records in compliance with hospital policies.
- Participate in emergency on-call duties and multidisciplinary medical board reviews.
- Possession of the Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCS) or West African College of Surgeons (FWACS), or an approved equivalent qualification.
- Must possess a valid, current practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Minimum of 8 years of post-fellowship clinical experience in general or specialized surgery.
- Demonstrated strong teamwork, excellent interpersonal communication, and compassionate patient management skills.
- Proficiency in using computers and hospital management software is mandatory.
