Our core purpose is to improve lives through affordable quality eye care, and we are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Optician to join our growing professional team.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret eye examination results from Optometrists and advise patients on the most suitable lens and frame options.
- Measure, fit, adapt, and adjust eyewear, while performing minor repairs such as replacing hinges, nose pads, or temples.
- Determine clients bridge and eye size, temple length, vertex distance, pupillary distance, and optical centres using specialized measuring devices.
- Prepare and submit accurate work orders to the laboratory for lens grinding and custom eyewear fabrication.
- Verify the quality, accuracy, and measurements of finished lenses and materials returned from the laboratory.
- Maintain precise patient records, ensure seamless processing of glasses and contact lenses, and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven professional experience working as an Optician.
- Hold a valid Diploma or Degree in Opticianry or a closely related field.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
