Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the daily clinical care and well-being of elderly patients and residents.
- Develop and implement comprehensive, individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Monitor patients' overall health, medication administration, nutrition, personal hygiene, and comfort.
- Supervise, mentor, and guide nurses, caregivers, and support staff to maintain exceptional performance standards.
- Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and thorough documentation of daily care.
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, families, attending physicians, and specialists.
- Ensure strict compliance with infection prevention, occupational safety, and global healthcare standards.
- Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies and acute changes in patients' conditions.
- Promote dignity, independence, comfort, and enhanced quality of life for all elderly residents.
- Address, resolve, and report any concerns regarding patient care and staff performance.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with a valid practicing license in Nigeria.
- Additional certification, specialized training, or proven experience in geriatric nursing or elderly care is a distinct advantage.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant clinical nursing experience, with a strong background in geriatric, long-term care, or assisted living facilities.
- Demonstrated leadership, team management, and supervisory capabilities.
