About the Role

We are currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Ophthalmic Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team in Lagos. In this role, you will play a crucial supportive function, helping patients of all ages navigate their eye care journey while ensuring smooth daily clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities- Collect accurate patient medical history and update electronic health records promptly.
- Conduct preliminary vision examinations and diagnostic investigations as directed by specialists.
- Administer approved eye medications and treatments safely under supervision.
- Educate patients of all age groups on proper general eye care and post-treatment hygiene.
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently within a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and ensure consulting rooms are fully prepared for daily use.
- Minimum of OND, nursing assistant training, or a relevant health science background.
- Professional certification in ophthalmic assisting or a related healthcare field will be a distinct advantage.
- Must reside within Isolo or immediate surrounding areas in Lagos State.
- Proficiency as an intermediate user of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and a willingness to learn quickly.
