In this shift-duty role, you will play a vital part in maintaining high standards of pharmaceutical care and operational excellence within our hospital pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities- Dispense medications accurately to patients following prescriptions and established clinical guidelines.
- Manage pharmaceutical stock and inventory levels to prevent shortages and minimize waste.
- Maintain comprehensive pharmacy records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ensure safe medication handling, proper storage conditions, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Support daily pharmacy operations and provide compassionate patient counselling on medication usage.
- Diploma in Pharmacy Technician studies or a recognized equivalent qualification.
- Current registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) where applicable.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-hospital or post-qualification pharmacy experience.
- Strong knowledge of medication dispensing, inventory management, and safe medicine handling.
- Excellent attention to detail and proficiency in basic computer skills for record-keeping.
