About the Role
Maurice Xandra Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Operations Supervisor on behalf of our client, a leading cosmetics organisation within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a vital part in driving efficiency, streamlining daily operational activities, and ensuring seamless collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor daily operational activities and ensure strict adherence to established processes and service delivery standards.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to guarantee contract compliance and timely execution of services.
- Manage departmental procurement requests, raise purchase orders, obtain necessary approvals, and reconcile invoices.
- Track stock levels, manage reorder processes, and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments efficiently.
- Prepare comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly operational performance reports for management review.
- Support regulatory compliance activities, including documentation, internal audits, and statutory submissions.
- Liaise with Finance, HR, IT, and Commercial teams to resolve operational bottlenecks and support business goals.
- Facilitate the implementation of new systems, tools, and continuous process improvements within the operations department.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of Second Class Lower in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience in an operations, supply chain, or process management role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Solid understanding of stock management principles, procurement cycles, and logistics coordination.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements applicable to the Nigerian cosmetics and FMCG industry.
